Overview

A Russian Tourist visa will be required for the applicant who wants to visit in Russia for the purpose of Holidaying. The visa is valid for 30 days (depending on the embassy). Visitors under tourist visas are not allowed to accept any unauthorized employment, attend school, or represent the foreign information media during their stay in Russia.

Candidates have to submit all the required documents for the "Russian Tourist Visa" physically to the Russian Embassy. The decision regarding the issuing of a visa is taken only after an individual interview with the applicant, who must appear at the Embassy in person. All documents and Payments can be submitted on Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday: 08:45 am – 11:45 am. Upon receipt of your visa, please carefully check it for possible mistakes (name, gender, passport number, term of validity, etc.) and, if necessary, return your passport to the Consular Department for corrections at the earliest. The Consular Department will not bear responsibility for any mistakes in visas, which were not brought to its attention prior to departure from Bangladesh. The Consular Department has the right to refuse a visa without explanation.

Who can apply

  • Basic Eligibility Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Egypt's Tourist Visa (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required documents.
    Also, Applicant should:
    • be a genuine visitor
    • have enough funds to support his/her stay and leave

  1. Passport

    Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum 6 (six) months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.

    a) Copy of previous passports and visas issued.

    b) If any visa request was refused, details of the original letter issued by the authorities of that country.

  2. Applicants/Sponsors Financial Statement

    *Personal Bank Statement of the last 6 months & Bank Solvency Certificate

    *TIN certificate

    *Income Tax certificate (Last 2 years), Tax Return (ITR)

  3. Photo Specifications

    One professional passport-sized photo (3,5 x 4,5 cm). The photo should be glued (not stapled or attached using adhesive tape) to the specially marked place of the application form.

  4. Questionnaire Form

    Duly filled-in Questionnaire for tourists.

  5. Covering-Letter

    Covering Letter from applicant name, designation, Passport Number, purpose, and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip – travel, accommodation, expenses, etc. Addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Russia.

  6. Tourist voucher

    Tourist voucher from a licensed Russian travel agent (original or copy). A tourist voucher IS NOT a hotel booking. It is issued only by certified Russian travel agents. Item “Russian host organization” of the application form must contain the name of the said agent and its Reference Number (MBT).

  7. Airline & Hotel Reservation

    a) Confirmation of payment for hotel accommodation.

    b) Purchased tickets confirming the date of entry to and exit from Russia.

  8. Forwarding Letter

    NOC from the applicant's company authority on the company's letterhead stating the applicant's name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of the visa.

    **The NOC letter is highly important for your Schengen visa application.(Pay slips should be included in it.

  9. Applicants/Sponsors Proof of Occupation

    *Office ID Card/Visiting Card

    *Company Letter Pad : A letter from your employer on company letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, the purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job (if you are a job holder).

    *Salary slips for the last 6 months

    *Valid Passport, NID, Photo, and Birth certificate.

Weather

Most of the country has a continental climate, with long, cold winters and brief summers. January temperatures are in the range of 6°C (45 °F) on the southeastern shore of the Black Sea. A record low temperature of -71°C (-96 °F) was recorded in 1974 at the northeast Siberian village of Oymyakon, the lowest temperature ever recorded anywhere in the world for an inhabited region.
