Sticker Visa

Overview

The Standard "Tourist Visa” is valid for 90 days (from the issue date) for a Single Journey to Myanmar for the purpose of Tour / Holidaying / Vacation. The Visitor is allowed to stay in Myanmar for no more than 30 consecutive days Upon entrance in Myanmar. Visitors under Tourist Visa are not allowed to accept any unauthorized employment, or attend school, or represent the foreign information media during their stay in Myanmar.

The applicant must physically submit the necessary authentic and valid documents for a Myanmar Sticker Visa through an authorized agent. Once it has been approved by the Myanmar Embassy, it will be delivered to the Authorized Agent for pickup.

Basic Eligibility Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Thailand (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.

b. For documents in other foreign languages (including Bangla) must be translated into English and shall be certified by a credible translator and a notary public

c. Copy of Marriage Certificate (if in Bengali, notarized English translation and photocopy of the original is required) must submitted if spouse name does not appear in the passport

d. Photocopy of National Id card (NID)

e. Vaccination proof of COVID - 19

b. Visiting Card

c. Trade license (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original trade license required) for proprietorship business, Memorandum of Article for limited company if the applicant’s name is not mentioned in the trade license.

Weather

Myanmar has a tropical to sub-tropical monsoon climate with three seasons: i) hot, dry inter-monsoonal (mid-February to mid-May); ii) rainy southwest monsoon (mid-May to late October), and iii) cool relatively dry northeast monsoon (late October to mid-February). Temperatures are high and relatively the same all year round and precipitation can be very high ranging between 2,500-5,500 mm per year. These regions experience the highest exposure to tropical cyclones. Myanmar’s central zone is drier and experiences greater temperature variation, but temperatures can still exceed 40°C.

Mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Myanmar :
Fully vaccinated travelers must have a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing a full vaccination course at least 14 days before arrival in Myanmar. The country name and dates of vaccination must be in English or Myanmar. Additionally, the particulars of the travelers, according to their passports, must also be in English or Myanmar.
Travelers must present a printed copy of the document to the respective airport health authorities

Mandatory health insurance (Travelers must have medical health insurance with international coverage that covers COVID-19 before traveling to Myanmar from Myanmar Insurance.
Travelers must present a printed copy of the document to the respective airport health authorities on arrival to Myanmar.
Diplomats, UN officials, and their families can submit health insurance from their respective countries)
Health screening maybe required before exiting Bangladesh.

After arrival

Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival (Travelers must take a COVID-19 RDT antigen test on arrival in Myanmar at their own cost.
Travelers may leave the airport after receiving negative COVID-19 test results from the respective health authorities).
Quarantine maybe required for vaccinated travelers
(Travelers who test positive for COVID-19 on arrival must quarantine in a hospital, treatment center, or hotel designated by the MOH as per health protocols. The quarantine requirement also applies to travelers who are symptomatic on arrival.
Travelers who tested negative on arrival test don’t need to quarantine on arrival in Myanmar. Travelers who develop signs and symptoms of COVID-19 during their stay in Myanmar must report to the respective health authorities).
