Overview
If someone wants to study in Malaysia for Long term/Short term duration, they will need to apply for Malaysian student visa. Initially, the student will be given a visa for 3 months (the student has to enter Malaysia within this time). The student will then be required to appeal to his/her study institution for the renewal of the visa and the renewal will be done through that study institution.
Applicant needs to submit the "Malaysian Student eVisa" online via Authorized Agent. Once approved by the Embassy of Malaysia an electronic copy (softcopy) of the visa will be sent to the Authorized Agent.

- Basic Eligibility Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Malaysia Student Visa under EMGS approved Institutions (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.

Sponsors' Proof of Occupation:
a. Office ID card / Visiting Card
b. BMDC certificate or letter from the hospital if the applicant is a Doctor,
c. A Bar Council Certificate or letter from a law firm if the applicant is a lawyer
d. Salary accounts Bank Statement (preferably) / Pay Slip / Salary Certificate are required for service holders.
e. Trade license (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original trade license required) for proprietorship business, Memorandum of Article for limited company if the applicant’s name is not mentioned in the trade license.
Sponsor Financial Documents:
a. Bank statement and Solvency (last 6 months) are required when applicants have a previous ED visa.

In general the processing time is 5 to 7 Working Days, but it might be delayed due to unavoidable situation.
