Overview

The Tourist visa of Hong Kong is valid for 90 days (from the VISA issue date) for a Single Journey to Hong Kong for the purpose of Tour / Holidaying / Vacation. Visitors under Tourist Visa are not allowed to accept any unauthorized employment, or attend school, or represent the foreign information media during their stay in Hong Kong.

Applicants have to submit all required documents and information through online.
The authority of the embassy or consulate office will send the Electronic copy of visa via email if the visa will be granted.

Who can apply

  • Basic Eligibility Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Hong Kong Visit Visa (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.

    Application form ID 1003A (Filled by the applicant) with one recent passport-size color photograph.

  2. Passport

    a) All Pages of scan copy of passport required

    b) Minimum 6 month validity required

    c) At least 2 Blank page required

    d) Old passport required (if any)

    Note: Original Passport must have to be shown at the time of submitting the visa application.

  3. Photo Specification

    Applicant's recent photograph (affixed on page 1 of the application form ID 1003A)

  4. Cover Letter

    A covering letter stating the purpose of visit and itinerary.

    Also In this letter applicants have to show his/her passport number, Accommodation details etc.

  5. Invitation letter

    A letter from your relative or friend or company inviting you to visit and their relationship to you. The letter could state: the purpose of your visit and length of stay, if you will be staying with them, If this person will be paying for your stay, provide proof of their funds. Application for Entry for Visit/Transit (Sponsor) in Hong Kong.

  6. Proof of civil status

    Marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse (if applicable)

  7. Round Trip Air Ticket & Hotel Booking

    Round trip air ticket and Hotel Booking are required.

  8. Proof of Occupation

    a. Visa request letter from the applicant and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Employer.

    b. Office ID card / Visiting Card

    c. BMDC certificate or letter from hospital if the applicant is a Doctor,

    d. A Bar Council Certificate or letter from a law firm if the applicant is a lawyer

    e. A recommendation letter from the school / university or student card /evidence of school / university enrolment) if the applicant is a student.

    f. Salary accounts Bank Statement (preferably) / Pay Slip / Salary Certificate are required for service holders.

    g. Trade license (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original trade license required) for proprietorship business, Memorandum of Article for limited company if the applicant’s name is not mentioned in the trade license.

  9. Covid 19 Vaccine Certificate

    Fully Vaccinated Certificate is required.

  10. Others

    1. Photocopy of proof of the proposed business visit to Hong Kong, e.g. letter issued by the applicant's employing company to confirm his/her proposed business activities in Hong Kong, invitation letter issued by a local company, letter issued by a trade body to confirm the applicant's attendance at trade fairs and exhibitions, etc. (for business visit only).

    2. Photocopy of proof of relationship with the local sponsor (for family visit only).

    3. Photocopy of proof of the proposed visit to Hong Kong (for purposes of visit other than leisure, transit, business or family visit).

Travel rules

Before departure

  • Original Passport including Visa.
  • Round Air Tickets printed copy.
  • Proof of Accommodation.
  • Travel Insurance copy.
  • Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test rsults is required. (Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) result (which can be self-administered or by professional swab sampling) or a polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test result. Travelers must take the RAT test a maximum of 24 hours or a PCR test a maximum of 48 hours before the scheduled departure time of the last flight to Hong Kong SAR. Travelers must keep the photos of the negative test results or the test report.).
  • Recommended health declaration form. (All travelers are recommended to complete a health declaration form before arrival in Hong Kong. After submitting the online form, the system will generate a QR code valid for 96 hours.)
  • Health screening maybe required before exiting Bangladesh.

After arrival

  • RECOMMENDED COVID-19 TESTING AFTER ARRIVAL - Travelers are recommended to take a daily COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) from the day of arrival in Hong Kong until Day 5 after arrival in Hong Kong.Travelers can report daily RAT results and health status via the ”Electronic COVID-19 Medical Surveillance System” (eCMSS) during the self-monitoring period.
  • Quarantine is not required.
  • Health screening on arrival (All travelers must pass a temperature screening on arrival in Hong Kong. Travelers with a high temperature will undergo further checks).
  • Masks are not required in public.
